Bright Minds, Bold Futures: NWU Inspires the Next Generation of Eagles in Johannesburg and Pretoria

The North-West University (NWU) recently brought the energy, vision, and excitement to Johannesburg and Pretoria with two incredible Young Eagles Day events. Designed to engage top-performing Grade 11 and 12 learners, these events gave prospective students a firsthand look into life at NWU and what a vibrant experience it is!

In Johannesburg, the event took place at Leeuwenhof Akademie, where learners explored the many academic and personal growth opportunities NWU has to offer. The interactive sessions and one-on-one guidance allowed students to ask important questions about their future, while also getting a taste of NWU’s diverse community and dynamic student life.

Meanwhile, in Pretoria, the Young Eagles Day turned into a powerful space of connection and inspiration. From the moment the day began, it was clear that these future Eagles were ready to embrace what’s next. They connected with NWU ambassadors, learned about study options, and discovered how NWU stands out for its commitment to excellence and inclusivity.

What made both events special was hearing directly from the learners themselves, their excitement about NWU’s multicultural environment, the wide range of opportunities available, and how they already feel like part of the #myNWU family.
