1. Interest-Index: Discover Your Perfect Study Path

Not sure what to study? No problem! The Interest Index is designed to help you explore your strengths, interests, and potential career paths.

Why this tool is a game-changer:

  • It helps you identify activities you enjoy and excel at.

  • It matches your interests with potential career fields and the NWU programme.

  • You’ll receive a personalised report highlighting study options that might not have been on your radar.

Take the Interest-Index Survey today and start uncovering your future possibilities! Start the survey here

Note: This tool is a great starting point but doesn’t replace professional career guidance.

2. APS Calculator: Check Your Admission Score

Different courses have different entry requirements, and the APS is one of the key requirements you need to meet. NWU makes it easy with the APS Calculator to help you determine whether your academic scores meet the required threshold for admission.

  • Some courses, like Engineering and Theology, require additional testing.

  • The APS Calculator is useful for students with NSC, ISC, or SACAI results.

  • If you studied under a different school system, check out the APS conversion table for guidance.

Calculate your APS here and ensure you meet the requirements before you apply.

3. Virtual Campus Tour: Experience NWU From Home

Can’t visit in person? No problem! NWU offers a personalised virtual campus tour where you can explore life on campus from the comfort of your home.

How it works:

  • Select two qualifications you’re interested in.

  • Choose a campus.

  • Pick activities beyond the classroom.

Your selections will generate a customised virtual experience, giving you a sneak peek into what your NWU journey could look like!

By using these tools, you can confidently apply to the course that best suits your interests and ambitions.

It all starts with a strong application. Explore your best. Applications for 2025 open on 1 April.
